1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using mockpoint ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use mockpoint for the purpose of testing and developing CSMS (Charging Station Management System) applications.
mockpoint licenses are provided for evaluation, development, and testing. Contributions are voluntary and support ongoing development.

3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
- Redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the Software to third parties
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Use the Software to simulate real charging transactions for fraudulent purposes
4. Intended Use
mockpoint is designed as a deterministic OCPP 1.6J charge point simulator for testing and development purposes only. It is intended to simulate charge point behavior in controlled test environments and CI/CD pipelines. The Software is not intended for production use with real charging infrastructure or for processing actual charging transactions.
5. Intellectual Property
The Software and all copies thereof are proprietary to mockpoint and title thereto remains exclusively with us. All rights in the Software not specifically granted in this Agreement are reserved to mockpoint. The Software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL MOCKPOINT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
8. Updates and Modifications
We may update or modify the Software from time to time. Such updates may be required for you to continue using the Software. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Termination
We may terminate your license to use the Software at any time if you breach any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability shall survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Software shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
